Pricing and options

Flat Cut Out Metal letters and logos are available in a wide variety of materials: aluminum, bronze, brass, copper, stainless steel and now Hot Rolled Steel. Pentium powered computers paired with the latest graphics and software replicate your most complex ideas. Your letters and logos are then either precision routed with CNC machinery or water jet cut. Water jet cutting uses softened water pressurized to 45,000 psi forced through an .010 orifice at 3 times the speed of sound. Flat Cut Out Letters are available in any height specified.

FINISH & COLOR OPTIONS

  • PRICES are for upper case, lower case are 10% less. prices are for Natural Satin finishes, all letters are clear coated with and oven baked, hardened polyurethane.
  • PUNCTUATION is 1/3 the price of an upper case letter.
  • INSTALLATION STUDS are included with all letters.
  • CONNECTED SCRIPT available in all sizes over 6", Add 30%
  • INSTALLATION TEMPLATES are available for 25¢ Net per inch of letter height, $3.00 maximum per letter.
  • ALUMINUM ANODIZED COLORS may vary from order to order due to the chemical anodizing process.
  • RETURN FINISH if the face is polished, the returns are sanded. All other finishes have beadbalasted returns.
  • FRACTIONAL HEIGHTS (such as 2-1/8, 2-1/4, 2-1/2, 2-3/4) are also available. Price fractions greater than 1/2" at the next higher letter price (i.e.. 12-3/4" = 13" price). Price fractions for less than 1/2" at the next lower letter price (i.e.. 12-1/8" = 12" price).
  • LETTERS 1/8" THICK cannot be drilled and tapped for studs, nor can they be anodized or polished.
  • CRATE CHARGE add a $30 Net for letters or logos over 24"; larger orders may require multiple crates.

Precision-Cut vs. Water jet Cut:

Precision Flat Cut letters and logos are mechanically routed out of flat metal stock. Based on the material thickness and letter size, an 1/8" - 1/4" router bit will be used. As a result, inside corners will have a slight radius.

Water jet Flat Cut letters and logos are made using a fine, high pressure stream of water that carries an abrasive mineral. This fine stream cuts and allows for sharp inside corners and intricate detail on logos and letters under 2" high. Both methods of cutting allow the same finish after being cut.
